Arthur was a man of many talents and a very hard worker.  Over the years Arthur worked as a welder, a construction worker and a mechanic.    Art could put his hand to anything successfully, whether it was painting or siding or roofing a house, working on a plumbing or electrical problem, fixing a furnace, any problems on a car, or a hundred other problems that crop up.  Art spent his life fixing things for other people.

Arthur really loved the great outdoors.  He spent many hours on his wooded property.  He loved nature and often spoke about the wildlife and trees on his property.  He loved to hunt, fish and shoot.  He also spent his time at his sister’s cottage near Pymatuning helping out with fixing what needed fixing.  In his younger years he was a very good bowler and was on leagues for many years.
