Louise Elizabeth Czuchaj

October 3, 1954 - September 25, 2023

Louise Elizabeth Czuchaj, of Maple Heights OH, Age 68, passed away on September 25, 2023. Beloved Wife of Timothy Czuchaj Sr.; Mother of Sheryl (Eric), Kimberly (Tim), Tim Jr. (Joanna), Mathew (Melisa) and Michael; Grandmother of Taylor, Elizabeth, Aubrey, Justin, Adian, and Jessica. Louise lost her life battling an infection for a year. She grew up in Warren Michigan and graduated from East Detroit High School, where she met and married her sweetheart for fifty-four years! She also attended Macomb Community College and acquired an Associate Degree in Medical Transcription. All her life Louise has been a blessing to everyone.  She spent her whole life living for her family. She will always be remembered in our thoughts, prayers! 

Joseph Thomas Nagle

Beloved husband of the late Otomie (nee Caswell); father of Daniel, Dennis (Rita), David (Robin), Michele Ebsch (Robert), Cynthia Zoll (Kenneth Rickey, deceased) (Michael), Jeffrey (deceased) (Barb), Richard (deceased) (Jacky) and Thomas (Jamie); grandfather of Leslie (Doug), Stacey (Kenneth), Kati (Michael), Nora (Michael), Dennis (Danette), Gregory (Bonnie), Tod (Allyson), Sarah (Jason), Nicole, Patrick, Eileen (Evan), Jennifer (Robert), Matt, Josh (Gina), Brad (Ali), Joseph (Stephanie), Ashley, Peyton, and Braden; great grandfather of 33; great-great grandfather of 9. Joseph was an awesome father. He enjoyed wood carving, gardening, telling stories, being the family historian, and traveling the world.  A graduate of Penn State, he was employed by FIA and served in the US Airforce, where he was training to become a pilot.

Services will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Monica Church 13623 Rockside Road Garfield Hts., OH

Alfred W. Keller Jr. "Bill"

February 19, 1958 - June 14, 2023

Alfred W. Keller, Jr. “Bill” age 65.  Passed away peacefully June 14, 2023.  Beloved father of Karlie Keller (Chris). Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred (Bill) Keller Sr., Marianne (Meg) Keller (nee Harwood) and his brother, Michael Keller. Loving brother of Beth Turk, Anne (Mark) Cozzins, Amy (Tim) Rosenbaum.  Loving life partner of Jennifer Ogilvie.  Dear uncle, cousin, nephew and friend of many.

Memorial service will be held Friday, July 28, 2023, 10:00 a.m. at St. Anselm Church, 12969 Chillicothe Rd., Chesterland OH 44026.

Michael Andrew Paul

October 20, 1974 - June 24, 2023

Michael Paul, 48, of Berea, OH, passed away on June 24, 2023. He was born on October 20, 1974.  Michael was a union meat cutter and a dedicated stay-at-home dad. He attended Garfield Heights High School. Michael was a member of the Greater Cleveland Umpire Association and enjoyed umpiring in his free time. He will be remembered for his love of baseball. Michael is survived by his former wife Samantha, his daughter Sarah, son John, parents Michael and Penny Paul, brother Matthew (Elizabeth) Paul, niece Kinsley Paul, grandmother Norma Paul, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Andrew Paul, and George and Bernie Smith.

A funeral mass will be held on Monday, July 3, at 11am at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, 14600 Turney Road, Maple Heights. The family will receive visitors at the church from 10:00-11am.

Deloris Kriz age 97, Beloved wife of the late Richard P.; mother of Thomas (Linda), James (Paula), and Richard A.; grandmother of Scott (Jessica), Michael (Tiffany), Erika, and Paul; great-grandmother of three; aunt of Rosemary (Dennis).

Margaret Rachel Stoddard

June 19, 1923 - June 2, 2023

Margaret Rachel Stoddard, (nee Taggart), age 99 of Lyndhurst, passed away peacefully on June 2, 2023 with her loving daughters at her side. She is survived by daughters: Joanne Cash (Ron, deceased),  Ellen Lampert (Mark), Linda Green (Dennis, deceased), grandchildren: Chris, Alexis, Blair, Rachel, Lindsey, and 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, Jim Taggart. Margaret was born June 19, 1923 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. During her early years, she was a competitive swimmer on the Canadian National Team, breaking several national records. After raising her children, she pursued her love of the outdoors and enjoyed canoeing, cross country skiing and hiking. Her interest in archaeology and learning about other cultures led her on adventures throughout the world, including archaeological digs. She was a member of the Cleveland Hiking Club and Lyndhurst Community of Faith Church. She was a loving mother with a beautiful heart and smile and a woman of integrity, who will be missed dearly.

A private family service will be held.

Linda Jean Zimmerman

September 20, 1955 - May 29, 2023

Zimmerman, Linda Jean (Balog) On May 29, 2023, Linda went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus.  She was born September 20, 1955, to Carol Balog (Wacko) and the late Thomas Balog Jr.; Dearly Beloved Mother of Dianna Anello (Chad), Steven Malkowski (Jessica), Heather Robideaux. Beloved Stepmother to Andrew Zimmerman and Anthony Zimmerman.; Loving and Devoted Grandmother of Justin, James, Kerryn, Michael, Brendon, Sydney, Mary Jane, Grayden, Kaitlyn, Reid, Noah, Joseph, Johnnie, Zac, Mireya and Remington; Dear Sister of Carol Alquero (Abraham), Thomas Balog, Richard Balog; Loving Aunt to Max Boyle (Lisa), Melissa Chesbro (Russ), Elizabeth Sobiesienski (Brian). Great Aunt to Makayla, Lily, and Sienna.  Great-Great Aunt to Jahseh. Linda was devoted to Christ, her family and friends. She proudly worked and retired from the Department of Defense, diligently adjudicating retired pay accounts for all Military branches. She was also a dedicated member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 196. She had both an infectious laugh and smile and will always be remembered for her kind spirit!  She will be greatly missed by all.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2023 from 2-4 p.m. at Vito-Nero Funeral Home 6130 Turney Rd. Garfield Hts., OH 44125

Theresa B. Pruchnicki

August 24, 1928 - May 27, 2023

Theresa Pruchnicki (nee Sulowski) age 94, passed away peacefully on the morning of May 27, 2023. Theresa was born in Cleveland, Ohio, on August 24, 1928, to the late Simon and Katherine Sulowski. She is preceded in death by her siblings, Celia, Henry and Apoline. Theresa graduated from South High in 1946, and a year later met John Pruchnicki at a polka dance. They married on May14, 1949, a marriage of love that lasted 74 years. Theresa will be deeply missed by husband John, and her sons Ken (Kathy) and Ron (Sue). She was a loving grandmother to Kerri Carmichael (Jack), Eric (Heather), Kristyn Hivick (Paul), and Scott (Shawna). Theresa was also a devoted great grandmother to Anna, Scarlett, Lucy, Harper, Hudson, and Maddie. Beloved by her in laws, nieces and nephews, neighbors, and friends. Theresa built relationships that lasted a lifetime. Be it working with the St. Monica's Lady Guild to playing Bingo with the residents at Jennings Hall, to making Cream-O- Wheat and playing Old Maid with the grandkids, to making apple squares for family events; Theresa truly tried to live up to her namesake's legacy: "Do no great things.  Only small things with great love."

Mass of Christian burial will be on Thursday, June 1, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Monica Church 13623 Rockside Rd. Garfield Hts., OH 44125. The family will receive friends one hour prior to mass at the Church.

Geraldine Cubbal "Geri"

October 6, 1944 - May 7, 2023

Geraldine B. Cubbal of Bedford Heights, Ohio died May 7, 2023 after a prolonged illness. Geri was born in Youngstown on October 6, 1944 to William B. Bruce and the former Pauline C. Krajci. She graduated from Thiel College as a French major who spent a year abroad studying in France. She went on to earn a master's degree in psychology from the University of Saint Francis. Later in life, she went back to school to earn a master’s in library and information science from Kent State University. Geraldine met husband John Cubbal while they were both working as librarians at the Youngstown Public Library. They married on October 4, 1969. She later worked at the Allen County (Indiana) Public Library and the libraries at Cleveland State University and the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth. At UMass Dartmouth, Geri taught courses on effective use of library reference materials and the internet to students preparing to conduct advanced research studies.  She was a keen artist who was adept at various arts and crafts, including sewing, drawing, and decorating psanky eggs. In her retirement, she enjoyed studying Hungarian, a language she had no prior connection to, later admitting when asked that she had chosen it “because it was hard.” She loved spending time with her grandchildren and cheering them on in their hobbies and activities. Geri is survived by her husband John, children Tracy, Bradley, and Jeffrey Cubbal, and grandchildren Holden Charek-Cubbal and Layla and Joseph Cubbal. She was preceded in death by her sister, Dolores Venneri.

The family will be remembering her privately, with her ashes to be interred at a later date.
