Josephine Alexander (nee LaMarca) 95, died December 25, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Alexander; loving mother of James (Sharon), Joanna Baranek (Thomas) and Vera Glazer (Neil); dear grandmother of Lara Trudell (Lance), Jimmy (Megan), Michael Baranek, Michelle Rossman (Raymond III) and Joel Glazer (Brea Furman); great-grandmother of Cory and Lily Rossman; fond sister of Jack LaMarca, Angela Gabriel and the late Carmela Saraniti, Charles LaMarca, Joseph LaMarca, and Thomas LaMarca; aunt, great-aunt, and cherished friend of many. Josephine loved people. She moved many times in her life, but quickly found great, new friends, always adapting to her new life with the attitude of “get up, dress up, and show up.” Therefore, she leaves many, many dear friends whom she danced with, played scrabble and bingo with, and prayed with. But most of all she loved her family. She said any day where she saw one of her children, it was a “red-letter day”.
Service will be on Friday, December 29 at 9:30 am at the funeral home and 10:00 am at St. Monica Church. The family will receive friends at Vito-Nero Funeral Home 6130 Turney Rd. (2 Blocks South of Rockside) on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.

Goldie Seese Selva was born on May 19th, 1958, in Harrisburg, PA. She grew up in Cleveland. Beloved wife of Dennis; Dearest mother of Samantha Seese and Nicole Selva; Loving grandmother of Nathan Kuhl and Alex Selva; Dear sister of Shirley Zeman, John Seese jr, Tony Seese, Martha Greenleaf, Joyce Seese and Almarine Polak; Goldie was a very family oriented woman. She was a hard worker and very stubborn. She was a devoted employee at the same company for forty years. Goldie loved to sun bathe on the boat or in her pool. She also loved to collect angels and plant flowers in the spring and summer. She entered into heaven on November 12th 2017 at 7:10 am with her family by her side. She was turned to the window so she could watch the sun rise, and as it did she took her final breath.
The family will receive friends on Friday, November 17 at Vito-Nero Funeral Home 6130 Turney Rd. (2 Blocks South of Rockside) from 1 – 2 p.m. After the services she will be laid to rest at Crown Hill Cemetery in Twinsburg, Ohio at 2:45 p.m. We hope you will be able join us in entering this women into peaceful eternity.
