Becka Dearly Beloved husband of Alice (nee Kallenberger); Loving father of Allen (Karen), and Mark (Patty); Dearest grandfather of Christopher, Kaitlyn, Tyler (Olivia), and Meghan; Dear brother of James. Richard was a proud US Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was active in the Garfield Hts. Senior Center and he also volunteered at the Village of Marymount for several years.
Services: Wednesday, January 25 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John Lutheran Church 11333 Granger Rd. Garfield Hts., OH. The family will receive friends at Vito-Nero Funeral Home 6130 Turney Road (Two Blocks South of Rockside) on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. and at the Church on Wednesday from 10:30-11 a.m.

Calabro (deceased); dearest mother of Nick (Mary), Terry Karwan (Rick, deceased), MaryEllen Drewes (Henry), Bill (Malynda), Joseph (deceased); loving grandmother of nine; dear great-grandmother of ten; great-great-grandmother of 2; dear sister of Mary Novalony, Carmelo and Carol Herip (all deceased), Rose Campagna and Maryanne Villicana. Josephine was a long-time volunteer at the Garfield Hts. Senior Center and was recognized as Volunteer of the Year. Nothing was ever wasted in her hands. She was known for her needlework, clever sense of humor and love of writing poetry.

She is survived by her sons, Dr. Dean (Kathi) and Colonel USAF (Ret.) Brian (Barbara) and grandchildren Jacqueline, Lindsay and Alexander and great-grandchild Jacob and her sister, Aldona. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Mary, brother Kye and her loving husband of many years, Fred. Ronnie was a veteran of WWII and served in Woman's Air Corps (WAC). A small service of remembrance will be held 1-3 p.m. on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at VITO-NERO FUNERAL HOME IN GARFIELD HTS., OH. Burial will follow at Arlington National Cemetery at a future date.
