Joan Mary Miller (nee Hammond) age 75 entered into the presence of the Holy Spirit surrounded by her family and friends on Wednesday, November 23, 2021. Beloved mother, sister, and grandmother. Daughter of the late Jessie and Robert Hammond; mother of Kenneth Miller (Phyllis), Pamela Benedict, and Rebekah McCreery; grandmother of Alex, Greg, Elizabeth, David, Antoinette, and Zach; sister of Lynette Webber and the late Michael LaTina; dear friend of many. Joan will always be remembered for the compassion and love to everyone who touched her life, both as a professional and private caregiver. She will always be known for her gregarious sense of humor. "We will see you mom on the other side for our next water fight."

A private celebration of life and memorial will be held at Jennings Chapel in Garfield Heights on a future date.

Erika H. Stanley (nee Hufenbach) age 94. Beloved wife of Paul W. (deceased); Loving mother of Darlene Perry (Michael), Helen Kraynak (Andrew), Erika Biltz (James), Paula Hammond (John), Katrina Jacob (Leo), and Mary; Dearest grandmother of Joe, Jen, Krissy, David, Sandra, Vicki, Jim, Chris, Pat, Beatty, and Diamond; Great-grandmother of 15; Dear sister of Erwin and Sigfreid; Wonderful grandma of “I BET” a beautiful German Shepherd; Kind aunt and friend of many. Erika was born in Germany and was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.

Service: Sunday, October 15 at 7:30 p.m. at Vito-Nero Funeral Home 6130 Turney Rd. Garfield Hts., OH (2 blocks south of Rockside) where family will receive friends on Sunday from 6 p.m. until time of service.

Interment: Monday, 11 a.m. at Crown Hill Cemetery (PLEASE MEET AT THE CEMETERY).
