Patrick T. Armetta “Pat”
Passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at age 48 after a lengthy battle with cancer. Patrick is survived by his 2 children, Patrick II (Patch) and Moira (Mo), his parents, Joseph and Judith Armetta, his 2 sisters, 4 nieces and 1 nephew. 

A celebration of his life will be held for friends and family on Saturday, March 7, 2015 from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. at 421 Manhattan Parkway, Painesville. 

MARGARET NETTGEN

April 20, 1938 - February 28, 2015

Margaret Nettgen, 76, passed away Saturday, February 28th, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Nettgen. Margaret was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend to many. She will be dearly missed by her children; Gary, Teri (Mark), Mari (Tim), grandchildren; Krystina, Derek, Cole, Rosie, and great grandchildren; Zachary and Gabriella. Margaret was a courageous person; her fearless strength will live on through each life she touched and every person that had the pleasure of knowing her.

March 10, 1939 - February 26, 2015

BEVERLY MONDAY SISTEK (nee Jestrab). Beloved wife of James (Duke); loving mother of Kimberly Fichera and David Monday; grandmother of Anthony, Madison, and Nicole; sister of Jean Warren (deceased); stepmother of Cynthia Sistek Chandler and Cheri Sistek (grandchildren Leah, Elijah and Isabelle); aunt and great aunt.

Memorial Mass Saturday, Feb. 28, 2015 at 11:30 AM, ST. BARNABUS CHURCH, 9451 BRANDYWINE ROAD, NORTHFIELD, OH. 

She will be remembered as a strong, caring woman with a great sense of humor and spirit.

JOHN R. BIRCHFIELD

January 4, 1922 - February 26, 2015

John R. Birchfield Jr. of Willoughby Hills passed away February 26 at the Hospice of the Western Reserve. He was born on January 4, 1922 in Charleston WV. He was the son of Rose and John R. Birchfield Sr. John graduated from New York University in 1949 where he was a member of the Zeta PSI Fraternity. John worked for several greater Cleveland firms including TRW, White Motor and was last an editor at Penton Publishing, he retired in 1987. John served as a pilot in the Army Air Corps in WWII. He enjoyed sport car racing and skiing. He was a member of the National Ski Patrol System since 1968. He last served on the Patrol at Peak & Peek Ski Resort in NY. John was selected as outstanding Ski Patroller in1985. John is survived by his beloved wife Helen; His brother in law Bill French of Corpus Christi, TX; Sister in law Betty Rini of Rockville, SC; and many beloved nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents John (Rus) and Rose Birchfield; his brother Lewis Birchfield.

A private memorial service will be held later when he is buried at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, OH.

JOSEPH L. LEFELHOC

December 11, 1925 - February 20, 2015

Joseph L. Lefelhoc, 89, was called to his heavenly home, Feb. 20, 2015, passing peacefully in his sleep at his home in Concord Township, where he had resided for 57 years. Joe was born Dec. 11, 1925, the oldest child of Joseph and Matilda Lefelhoc of Painesville, OH. A veteran, Joe proudly served in the U.S. Navy after which he married Janice (Jan)) Mellinger, Nov. 28, 1947. They were married for 64 years before her death, Feb. 28, 2010. Joe retired in 1988 from Dairymens, Painesville, enabling him to spend many happy hours with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was an accomplished craftsman, making intricate, detailed replicas of ships, one of which was displayed in the Fairport Harbor Lighthouse Museum. An avid Steelers fan, he also enjoyed football, Nascar, gardening and reading. Survivors include: son, James Lefelhoc of Painesville; daughter, KathyJo (John) Doeing of Fairport Harbor; grandchildren, Nina Lefelhoc, Shelia Hill, Melissa (Mark) Maltry, Jennifer (Steve) Dowd and Joseph (Molly) Doeing; and 7 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Joseph Glenn Lefelhoc; parents, Joseph and Matilda Lefelhoc; 3 brothers and 1 sister. 

No calling hours or funeral services will be observed.
Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Painesville.
