Jacqueline “Jackie”Embry (nee Gurgol) passed away on August 22, 2024 at the age of 68 after a long, courageous battle with cancer. Jackie would have reached her 69th birthday on September 2nd. Dear wife of Donald; most loving and devoted mother to her angels on earth, Michael and Eddie; dear sister of Larry (Brenda), Connie Holub (Bob), Rudy and Ken (Mary); loving aunt and great-aunt of many. She was preceded in death by her parents Rudolph and Cecilia Gurgol. Jackie received the most joy in being a homemaker for her family. She excelled at cooking and baking and always treated the many people she knew with her goodies. She took pride in making czarnina (Polish duck soup) to share with her siblings. It was a welcome task Jackie always enjoyed.

Funeral mass will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Monica Church, 13623 Rockside Rd. Garfield Hts. The family will receive friends at the church from 10-11 a.m.
