Michael (Mike) Dachtler, 50 years young, passed away peacefully and surrounded by family and friends on July 13, 2024. Mike leaves behind his beloved wife, Marcie (nee Buxton), sons Patrick Heidinger (Felecity Grubb), Austin, and Noah. Step children Shannon Schreibeis (Drew), Gretchen Blumenstock (Matt Bray), and Michael Blumenstock. Mike was the devoted grandfather of Kassie, Camden, Gavin, Eleanor, Killian, and Lillian. Mike also leaves behind his father Richard “Dick” and siblings Richard (Becca), Joseph (Stacie), and AnneMarie Kish (Mike). He was proceeded by his mother, Mary C. (Costo) Dachtler. Mike had many friends and was a proud member of the Pipe Fitters 120 union. Mike was honored to serve his country as a United States Marine.

The Family will receive friends at VITO-NERO FUNERAL HOME 6130 Turney Rd. Garfield Hts.., OH 44125 on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 from 3:00-7:00PM with a service at 7:30PM.

Interment with full military honors will take place Monday 9:45 AM July 22, 2024 at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Rd, Seville, OH 44273. (PLEASE MEET AT THE CEMETERY AT 9:30 AM).
