Jeffrey K. Olszko age 54 of Mentor, passed away at the Cleveland Clinic on July 31 from complications of an infection. He was born September 15, 1961 in Cleveland. He is survived by his wife Sharon (nee Felix); Children: Candace, Ashley, Jeff Jr., Anthony, Cody and Derrick; 12 grandchildren; siblings: David, Cindi Incorvaia (Pat), Kelly Knauf (Tom); many nieces and nephews; and his friend Carrena. He was preceded in death by his loving parents Alphonse and Delores; brothers: Kevin and Alan; and grandsons Cory and James. 

Family and friends will gather for a memorial mass on Saturday August 8 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Name Church Broadway Ave. Cleveland, OH.

Eleanor "Joyce" Shimko passed away on July 24, 2015 at home. Born in Ernest PA, she had lived in Wickliffe OH for the past 29 years. She was a caring mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. Joyce was a world traveler, movie connoisseur, avid card player, and best known to all for her love of family, friends, and chocolate. Survived by children; Debra (Vince) Hill Mancuso, Vicky (Richard) Adamany and Steven Shimko, grandchildren; Kelsey and Whitney Hill, Heather Kono, Brandon and Derrick Adamany, Cory Shimko and Jessica Dimeolo. great-grandchildren; Elijah and Liliana Dimeolo; sisters: Carol Orr and Marlene (Steve) Whitmere. She will be laid to rest at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery next to Steve Shimko her husband of 61 years. There will be a private interment ceremony for immediate family. 

Family will be receiving guests at her home on Sunday August 2, 2015 from 2:00-6:00pm

Daughter of Emma and Lorenzo Swearingen, both deceased. Wife of Robert K. Martin, deceased, former wife of Wendell Fankhauser, deceased. Sister of Jack Swearingen and deceased brothers Fred, Robert, Brenton and Warren Joseph. Loving mother of Michael Fankauser (Terri), Linda (Bruce Harwedel), Donna (George Clapper), David Martin and Kenneth Martin. Former mother-in-law of Ken Rupert Sr, Cheryl Martin and Teresa Martin. Beloved Nana to Laura, Ken Jr. Allen, Amanda, Keith, Jacob, Mikey, Michelle, Shane, Brent, Aaron, Terra. Great Grandmother to 11.
Aunt & special Nana to friends in Ohio & South Carolina. Special Aunt to Anne Serafin. A special thank you to Tamora, Gabby and especially Carol for helping with Mom’s care. Mom always said her kids and grandkids were her life, which was certainly true as she was still enjoying vacations with her family this spring. Old age with a little help from dementia finally became too much for her to overcome. 
Per Mom’s wishes, she has been cremated and her cremains will be buried at a later date in The Swearingen Family Cemetery located on the grounds of Canaan Valley State Park, WV.
Amanda inherited the green sweater.
Mom loved listening and dancing to the music from the 40’s through the 60’s. Those of you who wish to remember Mom should play a favorite song in her memory and dance like no one is watching.
Reverend Annette Diamond will officiate a Memorial Service on July 24th, at the United Methodist Church, 8940 State Rt 43, Streetsboro, Oh 44241 at 7 p.m. Reception to follow at the church.

Thomas Leach 67 passed away July 15 2015 in Cleveland. He is survived by his sisters, Patricia Ponn and Donna Schoen (Norman); brother, Bobby; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Lucille; nieces, Stacy Schoen and April Ponn.

A gathering of family and friends will be held August 30 at 6pm at Nido Italia Little Italy.

Christina (Tina) Marie Nero nee Tarantino, 54

Tina Nero, of Mentor, died Saturday July 11, at Hospice of the Western Reserve after a courageous yearlong fight with cancer. Service will be Thursday July 16 at 7 p.m. at St. John Vianney Church 7575 Bellflower Rd. Mentor, OH 44060 where the family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. 

Tina was born August 28, 1960 in Euclid and was a graduate of Willoughby South High School. Tina was a hard worker and dedicated employee, working in retail for over 35 years. She enjoyed bowling with family and friends for over 30 years.

She is survived by her husband Michael; step sons Michael (Katie), Johnny (Fallion); precious grandchildren Savanah and Juliana; Her father, Anthony J. Tarantino Sr.; a sister Mary Ann (Greg) Federico of Willoughby Hills; two brothers Anthony (Cheryl) Tarantino Jr. of Boardman; Michael Tarantino of Eastlake; nephews and nieces, Anthony & Carmen Tarantino and Dominic, Anthony, Michael and Michaela Federico; and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. 

She was preceded in death by her mother, Loretta M. (Taylor) Tarantino.
