Donald R. Pilny “Buzz “age 88. Beloved husband of Joanne (nee Jedlicka) (deceased); Dearest father of Scott (Linda) and Deborah Pignatiello (David); Loving grandfather of Jason, Jessica (Jeff), Ryan, and Shawn (Lindsey); Great-grandfather of Brianna and Cadence; dear brother of Frank (deceased)(Rene); dear brother in law of Donna Derbin (Klem, deceased); dear uncle of many.  Donald was a proud US Army WWII Veteran. He was also a Garfield Hts. Auxiliary police officer for 42 years.

Services will be Saturday, February 24 at 11:00 a.m. at Vito-Nero Funeral Home 6130 Turney Rd. Garfield Hts., OH (2 blocks south of Rockside) where family will receive friends on Friday from 6-8 p.m.

Rosemary T. Shay

April 14, 1926 - February 20, 2018

Rosemary T. Shay (nee: Beck), age 91, died Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at Jennings Center in Garfield Hts. Born in Cleveland, graduate of Holy Name HS (1944). Retired volunteer at Playhouse Square, member of St. Monica Church Ladies Guild. Survivors include children Susan Gardner (David), Barbara Barron (David), Michael Bartchak, Philip Bartchak (Sharon), Most Rev. Mark Bartchak, Matthew Bartchak (Michelle), Elizabeth Parsons (James), Laura Tobergte (Mark); grandchildren Michael Gardner, Linda Ramirez (Ed ), Lisa Curtis (Doug), James Barron (Michelle), Lance Barron (Goldie), Laura Barron, Jonathan Bartchak, Andrew Bartchak, Michael Bartchak, Melissa Ricco (Nick) Erin Hillyer (Craig), Alexandria Hoefke (Steve), Victor Fontana III, Jeffrey Fontana, Beth Tobergte, Grace Tobergte; and many great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by husbands Leonard Bartchak and Eli Shay; brother Frank Beck, sister Eleanor Coyne; granddaughter Christine Gardner.

Mass of Christian Burial, Friday, February 23, at 11 am, St. Monica Church, Garfield Hts. Visitation, Thursday from  2-8 p.m. at Vito-Nero Funeral Home 6130 Turney Road Garfield Hts. Burial at Calvary Cemetery, Cleveland.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations in memory of Mrs. Shay to Saint Monica Parish in Garfield Heights.

February 19, 1935 - February 15, 2018

Eileen E Hruby age 82 passed away February 15, 2018. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, George J. Hruby, two children, Ronald (Ewa) and Sandra Lysiak (Allen) and one grandchild, Stephen J. Hruby; dear sister of Robert Smith (deceased) and Rallin Smith.

There will be a funeral mass on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Rita Catholic Church 32820 Baldwin Rd. Solon OH. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the mass in the church vestibule.

Armand J. Nero Jr. age 68. Dearly beloved son of Armand J. Sr. and Lois (nee Vito) (both deceased); Cherished brother of Robert (Dawn) and Joseph (Beth); Loving brother in law and devoted friend of Janice M. (deceased); Dear uncle of Joseph, Angelo, Robert, Samantha and Peter. Dear nephew and cousin.

Raymond E. Kaczynski Beloved husband of Mary Ann “Chippy” (nee Nero); dearest step-father of Richard White (Valerie), Patty Gillen (Jim), Michael White (Terri), Scott White (Mala), and Donald (deceased); loving grandfather of 12; great-grandfather of 4; dearest brother of Thomas (Dorothy) and Kathy; dear brother in law of John Nero (Grace) and Gene Williams; special friend of Lovey; dear uncle. Ray was a proud US Army Veteran who loved being outdoors, hunting, and fishing. He was his happiest when he had a fishing pole in his hand in Florida or Canada. After 40 years he retired from Reliance Electric / Rockwell. He was also very talented and artistic with taxidermy, painting, and wood carving.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, January 26 from 3-7 p.m. at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home 6330 Center St. Mentor, OH 44060.
